I’m working with a client who’s building a headless Shopify site and wants to avoid the default Shopify URL structure. The goal is to have individual product pages (not variant-specific pages by size), and we were told that using Shopify’s Product Combined Listings is the way to go.
To retain the custom URL structure (e.g., /product-category/product-name/product-size), we were also told the categories would need to be hard-coded.
A few questions for anyone with experience:
Would love to hear any lessons learned or pitfalls to watch for. Thanks!

A few questions for anyone with experience:
- Are there any downsides or limitations to using the Product Combined Listings feature?
- Have you run into challenges when hard-coding category paths into URLs like this?
