What were the results of the press release testing?

Hello,

I kind of dipped out on watching SEO fight club for a bit, in the last few episodes I wanted they were talking about press release testing with Maj's service. Could anybody give me the cliff notes on the results; or better yet do you recall any episodes where they discussed them?

So far I have no conclusive results. Press releases (and other links) have been hit or miss in Google. It has varied by time period - sometimes looking good and sometime leaving you wondering if links are dead.

General conclusion: build a diversity of link types. Press releases are among the links that work.

Totally untested but I ranked a fresh EMD in 72 hours with a couple free PRs this week. We got #2 with PRs at 3,4,5. I doubt they will hold.
